Peer Support Group: PDA

(Pathological Demand Avoidance)

Wednesdays (once/month)
6pm-8pm

Parent Peer Support group for those supporting kids/teens/adults with PDA (Pathologic Demand Avoidance). Together we will explore resources, share our stories and make connections with others who "get" it.

Led by parents with lived experience with PDA autistic teens. Please note we are not counsellors or mental health professionals. This group is not intended to provide medical or professional advice, but to be a safe space for us to connect in person and feel a little less alone on this journey.

We also welcome adults who are exploring their own PDA.

We are a neurodivergent affirming organization, and focus on PDA from the perspective of it being a nervous system disorder requiring unique supports (vs. a set of behaviours that need to be managed).

Tea & snacks provided.
By donation (pay what you can, every little bit helps)
