  • Option to reserve our creative spaces for your own projects (sewing room, workshop, music studio)

Types of Membership

Individual Membership

For a single individual (adult or minor)

Family Membership

Valid for up to 6 people living in the same household.

Service Provider Membership

For individual service providers (or organization that hires them) to bring clients to access CDFC services. Designed as a option for clients that need extra support and to give service providers a unique chill place to bring their clients.

How does it all work?

Non-Members

Our drop-in sessions are open to non-members who want to try our services without committing to membership.

Individual or Family Membership

Become a CDFC member and support the work we do as a member of our community, while enjoying all the benefits of membership (see above). Pay the annual membership fee and then pay-as-you-go for the services you use.

Service Provider Membership:

Join as a service provider who supports individual clients and bring them to participate in CDFC activities. Support clients to attend our regularly scheduled drop-in groups or book a private session for one or more clients. Our CDFC Mentors facilitate activities while you provide extra support as needed.

Service Providers pay an annual membership fee and are then invoiced based on client attendance each month.

Signing up

  • An individual service provider (or organization) signs our Service Provider membership agreement to become a CDFC member.  This includes a waiver of liability for yourself and agreeing to follow our CDFC Code of Conduct.

  • An organization can have multiple Service Providers on their list, as long as each one signs the waiver and agrees to the terms

  • Clients do not need to be a CDFC member, but do need to sign our client liability waiver

  • The service provider is responsible for their client while they are participating in CDFC activities. This may include helping them to feel comfortable, giving them extra support to stay regulated, taking them for a walk or other calm activity if needed.  Or maybe just joining in whatever we are doing and having fun.

 Drop-In Sessions

  • $10/client per session (usually 2 hours)

  • More structured, with planned activities facilitated by CDFC Mentors (based on our current drop-In schedule).

  • May include a mix of other clients, CDFC members and non-members

  • Less flexible, as we are often facilitating a particular activity or lesson (for example Drum Circle)

  • Less control over group dynamics, but also more opportunity for social connections

  • Limited to small groups (5-6 max) so depends on space available

Private Sessions

  • $10/client per hour

  • Sessions can be as long as you like (anywhere from 1-hour to 8-hours)

  • CDFC Mentors facilitate the activities while you support your client(s)

  • More flexible:  do the activities of your choice, follow the clients’ interests and go with the flow

  • Reserve our space and CDFC Mentors for yourself, no worry about unknown dynamics with other clients/members

The Fine Print

Fees

Annual membership fees help to pay for supplies and operating costs.

Individual: $20/year
Family: $40/year
Service Providers: $100/year

We offer a sliding scale with options for low income or generous payments. Paying extra helps to subsidize other families and keep our services accessible.

  • Membership fees are valid for 1 year from date of purchase

  • Membership fees are non-refundable

  • Service Providers are responsible for their clients while on site

Membership Classes

We have two main classes of membership:

to new members as our community grows
