Building Projects

Fall 2021
We moved our music room out to the detached studio building and added acoustic panels to the walls and ceiling. They turned out pretty great and make a huge difference to the overall acoustics of the room. So now we can rock out without disturbing the household, and have much more space.

Things we’ve made:

  • DIY acoustic panels made with Rockwool insulation in a simple wood frame, covered with sari fabric from the thrift store

  • guitar hanger made with wood from our backyard

  • djembe drum covers: made with colorful fabric remnants with a fleece lining. They help to keep the drums covered when not in use, while still looking snazzy.

  • guitar stand to hold up to 5 guitars.

Recordings

We’ve been having fun recording some of our silly songs. Check out our new Bandcamp page!
